The Center organizes educational, cultural and community activities to introduce international interns, volunteers and students to Palestinian culture and daily life. Participants in the international programs have the opportunity to meet the local Palestinians who will share their lives and culture. The opportunity to work at the Excellence Center provides international volunteers, interns and students with not only first-hand knowledge of Palestinian life and culture in Hebron and the West Bank, with all the political realities, but also direct experience in actually living that life with Palestinians.

This program integrates the Palestinian culture into the scholastic experience, thus making each semester a true practical study in both language and its application. Beyond the classroom, students participate in numerous field trips around Palestine, as well as special lectures and cultural workshops. Students may also choose to volunteer in the community or participate in university clubs, allowing them to integrate further into Palestinian culture. This program aims to help students not only develop their Arabic language skills, but to understand every aspect of the Arab heritage, with particular attention and emphasis on Palestine. Students will be equipped with the appropriate vocabulary and terminology to competently explore such subject matters as economics, politics, daily life and linguistics in Arabic. Regular field trips to a variety of beautiful and historic sites all over the West Bank will be offered throughout the course.

The Palestinian Center for Education and Cultural Exchange (Go Palestine) in Hebron
The Palestinian Center was established to meet the cultural, social, and educational needs of the Palestinian Community. The Center offers international volunteer and internship programs that are created to teach aspects of life in Palestine. These programs include topics such as media, law, refugees, culture, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Islamic culture, human rights, children’s issues, and education to name a few. In addition, the Center offers Arabic intensive and non-intensive language courses commencing at the beginner level and culminating in an advanced course.

​Project Hope Arabic Language School in Nablus
Project Hope is one of the largest volunteer organisations in Palestine. It hosts around a hundred international volunteers a year to provide Language, Creative Arts, Activities and Applied Skills classes to approximately a thousand students a month. The Project Hope Arabic Language School offers Arabic language courses throughout the year. In addition to formal classes, the program offers weekly excursions and cultural activities around Nablus city where Arabic is used. Students participation in these curricular activities links the language acquired in class to the larger Palestinian and Arabic contexts.

SEBIL Arabic Programs are designed for people who want to learn or perfect their language skills from beginners to advanced levels, while enjoying their free time in Palestine. The Center offers various Arabic language programs: Online Arabic, Standard Arabic, Colloquial Arabic, Weekend Arabic course and Private course (One-to-One). Its core focus is to let students practice Arabic in conversations and to analyze all its components regarding grammar, syntax, phonetics and vocabulary. The course is taught exclusively in Arabic and covers reading, writing, speaking and listening, using contemporary printed and audio/video materials. Also offers Skype lessons.
